The University of Hawaii Law Review is currently accepting submissions for its upcoming Volume 48, which will be published across two issues in the 2025-2026 academic year.
Advancing legal scholarship in Hawaii, the Pacific, and beyond, the UH Law Review contributes to the national discourse on emerging legal issues.
The theme for Volume 48 is: Access to Justice; Native Hawaiian & Indigenous Peoples; Environment, Energy, & Resources; and Chief Justice Recktenwald. While preference may be given to manuscripts following the theme, other topics will be considered.
The priority deadline is May 23, 2025, but we strongly encourage authors to submit their manuscripts as soon as possible.
A limited number of offers are available and will be extended on a rolling basis.
Please direct inquiries to George Gibson and Brian Piotrowski, Co-Executive Editors, at uhlrpub@hawaii.edu. We look forward to reviewing your manuscripts.
