The Akron Law Review is excited to announce its call for articles for Volume 59, which will be published in 2026. We invite contributions from legal scholars and academics (excluding students) for several compelling upcoming issues.

General Issue: For our general issue, we welcome submissions on any legal topic. We highly value your time and effort in submitting your article and will manage a streamlined and efficient review process, ensuring timely publication and a meticulous focus on quality.

Specialty Issues: In addition to our general issue, Volume 59 may feature a specialty issue that provides a platform for scholarly exploration in key areas of law and public interest. Depending on the submissions, the potential categories can include but are not limited to: Elections and Election Law, Economic Regulation and the Law, or International Relations and Law. We encourage submissions that address contemporary issues, policy concerns, and innovative legal analysis in these fields.

Intellectual Property (IP) Issue: This issue will explore the intricate landscape of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyright, and trade secrets. We invite submissions that engage with current challenges, emerging trends, and future developments in the rapidly evolving IP field.

Symposium Issue: The theme for our symposium issue will be announced soon. Please stay tuned to our journal page for updates regarding the topic and call for papers.

Submission Instructions: Please submit your articles and CV for the general issue in one of two ways:

2.            By email to akronlawreview@uakron.edu
